How to execute 'status','log' command using CVSClient  XML

I am new to jcvs. For my project i have to execute 'cvs log' and 'cvs status'
commands. Can anyone provide me sample code on how to execuet 'cvs log' and 'cvs
status' commands using CVSClient.java.

The status and log commands will require that you previous perform a checkout.
Otherwise, it is extremely complicated to establish the necessary CVS entries
that you need to send with the commands.

The best place to look for examples of the use of the com.ice.cvsc package are
1) jCVS II application code, 2) jCVSWeb web app code, 3) the javascript examples
in com.ice.jcvsii.javascript.

The best place to start is com.ice.jcvsii.CheckoutPanel. This will show the
simplest code for setting up a request and checking out a module. Once you have
the module (project) checked out, you will want to use CVSProject.openProject()
to open the working directory and use the CVS entries that belong to it.

Once I get back from vacation, I hope to create some simple working examples,
which people have been requesting for a very long time.
