tag diff reports  XML

Hi, i'm trying to use ant to generate my interpretation of a tag diff report. Basically i need to get the comments, time and user for each commit between two tags in the cvs repository.

i find using the <cvstagdiff> ant task (rdiff command) just returns the version numbers of the tagged files and using <changelog> ant task (log command) returns the required information, but for every commit before the specified tag (ie goes back too far).

So my question is this: is there a way to run the log command and only return results between a 'startTag' and an 'endTag' ?
