We would like to disable certain tabs from the main panel for jCVS users. eg: 'Export', 'Import', 'Create' tab.

Is this possible?

You would have to patch the code. Either to not install the panels in question, or to disable their tabs.

To disable the tabs, patch MainPanel.java add line 57:

To not install the panels, patch MainPanel.java to comment out line 56:

and ditto for the other panels.

I am sorry there is not "resource" based way to accomplish this with no comilation, but I will add it to the list of suggestions.

Thanks for the quick response . There is a small problem. I was able to disable (grayed out) the tabs in the panel (export, import, create).

However after using one of the other tabs and then performing a test or checkout, the tabs are being re-enabled.

I think the method setAllTabsEnabled in MainPavel.java was the problem. I just inserted an if-else in the method as a workaround.

You are correct. I forgot that I reset tab states in response to various operations.
