Dear JCVSWeb support.

I was able to install your application on Tomcat 5.5. However, I have looked through every page and I can't find how to make it access my cvs repository. The only thing that looks to be related is Adding a New Project. However when I do that I am getting a Nullpointer exception saying that project.xml could not be found.

Any help or a link to user guide for jcvsweb would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Dmitri

I do not have any documentation at this time.

However, I am sure that we can work through your problem.

The problem you report, project.xml missing, suggests that your configuration is pointing to a location that the process cannot write to. If your configuration is set to WEB-INF/conf, then check that location for writability by the tomcat process.

If permissions are not the issue, then please try to post a stack trace to help me identify the exact problem.

In general, you define a project, which maps to a specific repository, access method, and login. Within the project, you define views, which represent a specific module to be checked out. Once the view is defined, click the green checkmark icon to initiate checkout. Then check the view's information to see the checkout logfile.
