Docs or howto?  XML

Is there a howto available for jCVSweb or jCVS anywhere? I'm having trouble just trying to figure out what each of the applications do. I thought jCVSweb was a full featured CVS client, but I saw in one response that it is a browser only. Are any of these apps a full CVS client? I'm looking for a web based CVS client that allows checkout and checkin of files as a minimum.

I've got jCVSweb installed, but I have no idea how to add a project. When I try it says the .xml file is not found. I guess I'm supposed to create this file first? Is there something somewhere that tell me how?

Thanks,
Tim

JCVSWeb is a *browser only*.

I know of no web-based "complete" CVS Client. There are many reasons why this is not a "simple" application to develop, which is the primary reason that I never attempted to add the complete functionality.

I have not had time yet to write proper documentation for jCVSWeb. However, you should not have to do anything except thru the user interface provided by the webapp.

Once you have properly configured things (via the admin login), go to the "My Home" page and note the "Create New Project" link in the left column of the main body. From there, you defines "views", which are really just CVS working directories checked out and provided for browsing. Once you define a view, you check it out using the little green circle with the checkmark. After that, you can browse the checked out view.
