jCVS is a Java-based package that allows one to communicate with a CVS server. CVS is a "Concurrent Versioning System", which allows developers to manage the versions of their source or other files. jCVS provides a User Application that implements a CVS "client" with a simple GUI interface. jCVSWeb provides a webapp that allows the presentation of an CVS repository from anywhere on the internet. The com.ice.cvsc package provides an API for developers to implements other CVS client implementations.

Hi,

I've downloaded jCvsII for use with Linux, rather than the latest download because the latest has "web" in the file name. I have no internet connection with Linux, and just want to use the repository feature of cvs, ie no connection to the internet. I have previously use TortoiseCVS on Windows and been able to work without needing to access the net. I'm lost with using jCvsII and am wondering if someone can help me configure a repository without any internet connections. Also, is there a manual somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Andrew.
