time -

I've installed jCVS web 1.4.1.

WindowsNT / tomcat5.

Have a CVSNT server running, and am able to use jCVS client as well as the cvsc API in my own apps to transact with this server, all local, with pserver protocol.

Still having trouble with views in jCVSweb though. Projects are not checked out, and I can not check them out (with the green check icon.)
The logs say repos does not exist, then shows me the module name, not repos name.

I have a feeling that I am confusing the notion of "module" and "repos", at least as far as jCVSweb is concerned. Also, not really sure yet of what a view is.

My first impression was that JCVSweb could speak to any CVS server, local or remote. But now I'm thinking there are issues with path locations.

Perhaps jcvsweb expects only a local repository?

Trying to muddle through, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any explanation as to how this all works. I will gladly write some documentation if and when I figure this out.
