There are several possibilities that come to mind, but there is not enough
information to know for sure. The stack trace does not correspond to my current
code, can you tell me what version you are running?

One possibility is that there is an issue with the file's path, either in its
construction (unlikely) or with its permissions. Is it possible that the servlet
does not have write permission to the directories in question?

Have you checked the catalina.out and log.txt files for any stack traces that
might shed more light on the IOException?

Which version of jCVS are you using?
Do you know if it is using MindBright or the newer j2ssh?

I am certain that MindBright does not read your .ssh directory, and I am not
sure about j2ssh.
June 1, 2004 --

Due to the increasing problems with SPAM and email borne viruses, I have decided
to suspend the jCVS mailing list. In its place, I have setup a "forum", powered
by JForum. It is my hope that the forum will be more useful than the mailing
list.

If you have any problems or comments, please do not hesitate to email me.

Tim.
